Roger Firsoff started his career 27 years ago as nurse in the Emergency/Trauma units contracted to work all over the United States.

He graduated from the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program from Ryerson University in 2001 and Masters in Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner stream from the University of Toronto in 2007.

His experience includes over 20 years in emergency medicine, primary care, and addictions and mental health as a Nurse Practitioner. He is an instructor at both York University and Athabasca University, with previous roles at Ryerson University in the Nurse Practitioner program and as professor of Therapeutics in Primary Health Care for the Council of Ontario University Programs in Nursing.
