Kate Johnston

Kate joined CATC in 2015 as the leader of the Change Health Care group of clinics located in Eastern Ontario. Before that, Kate spent time working with youth and adults in the correctional setting as a mental health and addictions counsellor. She has over 14 years of experience working in opioid agonist treatment in Ontario, in various roles including addiction counselling, case management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership.

Kate is passionate about reducing the stigma associated with substance use disorder and is committed to evolving and improving the patient experience in CATC’s outpatient treatment centres.
