Stacey brings 20+ years of hands-on experience providing both clinical and senior leadership in a variety of areas and has focused much of her career specializing in mental health, addictions, and psychological trauma. She has had a progressive career working in a variety of clinical roles at Alberta Health Services, National Health Services (UK), the Operational Stress Injury Clinic, Calgary Police Service, Edgewood Health Network and Homewood Health. Stacey has her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Oxford Brookes University in the UK and completed her Mental Health Counselling Training from York Ripon and St. John College, also in the UK.
She is intensively and advanced trained in several interventions, including DBT, EMDR, ART etc. She is a registered Counselling Therapist with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA), and Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA).
She is also a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL).
